WARRANTY policy

1. Each product has a guarantee, which is governed in accordance with the policy of each of the manufacturers. In case it is not specified in any of the products, HOFFLIGHTS grants a 3-year guarantee for all its products and a 10-year guarantee for the fan motors from the date of delivery.

2. For the return to be accepted and the guarantee to be effective, it must meet the following requirements:

- In order to make the guarantee effective on all HOFFLIGHTS products, a copy of the sales invoice or, failing that, the shipping note must be included.

- Any return / repair must be processed with our administrative department through a return authorization and the subsequent authorization number for subsequent receipt and storage in our warehouse.

- If the return is not received within 15 calendar days, the return authorization will be canceled and the corresponding payment will not be made.

- In the event that the return is not due to a failure of the product (samples, changes, material on consignment ...) it must have its original packaging, in perfect condition with all its accessories, and be returned within a maximum period of 30 days .

3. No product returned without the requested documents and information will be accepted.

4. All returns will be effective once validated by our technical department. The customer is responsible for following the instructions and warnings stated in the technical documents (installation manual, connection diagram, technical sheets…) associated with each product, otherwise the warranty will be voided.

5. It is not contemplated within the coverage of the guarantee:

- Products manipulated, opened or altered from the factory state, including those that are attempted to be repaired, provided that HOFFLIGHTS does not previously authorize it in writing.

- Those products that for their operation have not been installed with material supplied by HOFFLIGHTS (drivers, power supplies, accessories, etc.).

- Maintenance, repair and / or calibration services originated by the use or wear of the product, improper installation or use and by external problems.

- Products with physical damage. This includes scratches on the product and glass (if applicable), illegible labels, tears and bumps, as well as products with corrosion, oxidation, and damage caused by inclement weather or force majeure. We would appreciate verifying and reviewing the product at the time of delivery and return.

- Those products that for their maintenance or cleaning use aggressive chemical agents (hypochlorites, hydrochloric acids…) and / or cleaning devices that use aggressive mechanical elements (rollers, polishers, pressure water cleaners…).

- If the ambient temperature exceeds the operating temperature range (established in the technical specifications of the products) and the relative humidity in the installation does not exceed 80% nor should it ever exceed the IP rating of the product.

- Products installed in floodable areas and in places of stagnant water, since it can affect the operation of the luminaire, wiring, connectors, etc., causing the luminaire to fail, totally or partially.

- If the product is subjected to more than a total of 50,000 quick switch-ins and the electrical installation is not subjected to voltage fluctuations within an interval that exceeds 230V ± 10%.

6. The physical change of the product will be subject to stock of HOFFLIGHTS.

7. In no case the installation costs will be the responsibility of HOFFLIGHTS (in order to avoid confusion, repair or replace the defective product or component does not include the activities, costs or expenses of extraction and reinstallation including costs or labor expenses).

8. This is a limited warranty and excludes among other things, installation, access to products (scaffolding, elevators, etc.) and special, accessory and indirect damages (such as loss of income / profits, property damage or other extended costs not mentioned above).

9. HOFFLIGHTS is not responsible for any damage generated in the transport managed by the client.

10. In the event that the warranty return is not applicable, HOFFLIGHTS will not pay or replace any merchandise. In this case, the product will be returned to the customer with postage due or, failing that, it will be destroyed (with the resulting expenses).

11. If the product is damaged due to a failure of this (certified by our technical department), HOFFLIGHTS undertakes to change it or, failing that, to make payment of the product.

12. The payments generated as a guarantee for defective material will be made based on the original invoice of the product. The rest of the cases (except samples), a 20% demerit will be applied on the net invoiced value.
